WW1 Canadian Military Forces 1915 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A superb example of a First World War period 'Canadian Military Forces sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and with maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and retaining all of the gold plating. An exceptional example.
