A scarce First World War period poignant 'Royal Army Medical Corps memorial brooch' large silver plated horseshoe mounted with the badge of the regiment, bearing Latin scroll "In Arduis Fidelis" (Faithful In Adversity) entirely inlaid in black enamelling. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, manufacturers flaws to bottom scroll.
