WW1 Royal Naval Transport Service Gold & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.

A fine quality rare First World War period 'Royal Naval Transport Service' gold and enamel sweetheart brooch, on the style of the officer's cap badge, a crowned laurel wreath bearing blue enamel circlet 'R.N.Transport' and foulded anchor within, on white enamel ground, mounted on slender hollow bar, very typical of the Great War period, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
