WW1 Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, 9ct Gold & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'Loyal North Lancashire Regiment gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', the badge of the Regiment, a red rose surmounted by 'The Royal Crest' with title scroll below inlaid with rich blue enamelling, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and with an additional ring to accommodate a safety chain. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minor sevice wear to the enamel.
