WW1 Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, 1915 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'Loyal North Lancashire Regiment sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and with maker's details "A.Bros". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling, minor wear to gold plating on left scroll.
