A rare opportunity to purchase a gilt and enamel 'Gordon Highlanders sweetheart brooch' taken from a Second World War period sales representative's sample case, in the form of the Regiments' cap badge, the crest of the Marquis of Huntly, a stag's head issuing from a Ducal Coronet within an ivy wreath with the motto 'Bydand' below, mounted on a slender bar. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
