WW1 Gordon Highlanders Gold Scottish Regimental Sweetheart Brooch by George Loveridge.

A fine quality First World War period 'Gordon Highlanders gold sweetheart brooch' in the form of the Regiments' cap badge the crest of the Marquis of Huntly, a stag's head issuing from a Ducal Coronet within an ivy wreath with the motto 'Bydand' below, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and with maker's details "G.L" (G Loveridge & Co) . Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
