A superb quality scarce Elizabeth II period 'Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', designed in the form of the cap badge, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1960 and maker's details "G & Co Ld" in trefoil (Garrard & Co London) the Crown Jewellers. Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, perfect enamel and complete with its original velvet lined leather case with details to the lid "By appointment to H.M The Queen" "Goldsmiths & Crown Jewellers Garrard & Co Ltd 112, Regent Street. W1".
