A scarce Edward VII period 'Royal Artillery sweetheart brooch', hollow silver horseshoe with an applied gunner's badge secured by three wires; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1907 and maker's details "MB". Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minor fracture to the 'G' of 'Gloria', one securing wire absent, otherwise a good example.
