WW1 Royal Artillery 1915 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'Royal Artillery sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with gold plated finish, mounted on a S.M.L.E style rifle; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and with maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers Birmingham). Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling, heavy wear to gold plating.
