WW1 Royal Artillery Button Locket RA Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'Royal Artillery gilt button locket sweetheart brooch', large button incorporated into a laurel wreath surround, the reverse designed to hold a photograph or other memento, also impressed with "Rd.651017" a manufacturers registered, design and patent date of 1916. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, gilt remains bright, a lovely nostalgic piece of history.
