WWI Royal Naval Division Hood Battalion RND Silver & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare First World War period 'Royal Naval Division Hood Battalion' sweetheart brooch, following the design of the cap badge introduced in 1916, a Cornish chough and anchor from the crest of 'Admiral Hood' resting on a scroll inscribed 'Steady' and below a tablet inscribed 'Hood', the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
