WWI Royal Naval Division Hawke Battalion RND Silver & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.

A very rare First World War period 'Royal Naval Division Hawke Battalion' sweetheart brooch, following the design of the cap badge introduced in 1916, a hawk with fleur-de-lys on its breast t resting on a scroll inscribed 'Strike' and below a tablet inscribed 'Hawke', the reverse impressed "Silver". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
