Royal Navy Submarine S52 HMS Totem, Miniature Silhouette Boat Brooch.

A rare original 1950's period miniature 'Royal Navy Submarine badge', silver plated example, depicting the fine detailed parts of the boat and impressed to the conning tower "S52" in hand painted blue enamel. Good condition, retaining original pin fittings typical of the period.

Royal Navy 'Submarine S52 HMS Totem'was commissioned in 1945, rebuilt in 1950-51 and sold to Israeli Navy, recommissioned as 'Dakur' in 1967. Lost off the Israeli coast 26-Jan-1968 with the loss of all hands.
