WW1 Royal Artillery 9ct Gold & Enamel RA Regimental Sweetheart Brooch by Thomas Lynton Mott, Birmingham.
A beautiful First World War period fine quality 'Royal Artillery gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', designed on the style of the cap badge; artillery gun surmounted by a red enamel crown resting on 'Ubique' scroll with further scroll below 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt' inlaid in dark blue enamelling, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and with maker's detals "T.L.M" (Thomas Lynton Mott, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, enamel perfect.
