Royal Artillery 9ct Gold & Enamel RA Regimental Sweetheart Brooch by Walker & Hall, Sheffield.

A fine quality vibrant circa 1920's period 'Royal Artillery gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', designed on the style of the cap badge; artillery gun surmounted by a red enamel crown resting on 'Ubique' scroll also in red, with further scroll below 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt' inlaid in dark blue enamelling, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and with unusual maker's detals "W&H" in ornate oblong surround (Walker & Hall, Sheffield). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, no damage to the enamel.
