Royal Artillery 1952 Hallmarked Gold & Enamel RA Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.

A superb quality 'Royal Artillery gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', designed on the style of the cap badge; artillery gun with an applied wheel on green enamel ground, surmounted by a red enamel crown resting on 'Ubique' scroll, with further scroll below 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt' inlaid in dark blue enamelling; the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1952 and maker's details "JWB". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, good enamel.
