WW1 Battle of Vimy Ridge, French Town Crest Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War 1917 period battle brooch, ornate gilt and enamel French town crest surmounted by castle turrets above 'Vimy' title, flanked by floral decoration and title scroll below inlaid with blue enamel. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel intact, gilt remains bright.
