WW1 The Battle of Albert, Advancing French Soldiers Sweetheart Brooch.

A very unusual, well designed First World War 1916 period silver plated battle brooch, depicting three advancing French soldiers, rifles with fixed bayonets at the ready, title scroll "Albert" below picked out in gold plating. Good condition, retaining original pin fittings (pin rusty), minor wear to silver plating.
