Highland Light Infantry, 1911 Hollow Silver Horseshoe, Antique Scottish Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce 'Highland Light Infantry sweetheart brooch', hollow silver horseshoe, mounted with regimental crest being a 'Thistle Star' bearing Imperial Crown, coiled bugle with central "HLI", "Assaye" scroll with elephant below; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1911 and maker's details "MB" in two ovals. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
