WW1 Royal Navy Ship H.M.S. Amazon 1915 silver sweetheart brooch

A rare First World War period 'HMS Amazon silver sweetheart brooch' the ship named after the 'Greek mythical female warriors' of which the central figure depicts a representation of, armed with bow and arrow and resting on the title scroll; the reverse bearing London silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "CW&Sn" (C Widmer & Sons Clerkenwell, London). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings and gilt finish.
