WW1 Australian Military Forces Gold & Enamel Anzac Sweetheart Brooch.

A beautiful, scarce First World War period 'Australian Military Forces gold sweetheart brooch'; a rising sun, the central crown on a field of red translucent enamel, tri-part scroll below "Australian Commonwealth Military Forces" inlaid with blue; mounted on a bowed shape triangular bar, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold), with maker's details "SSR" within a shield. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
