WW1 H.M.Minesweeper, 1915 Hallmarked Hollow Silver & Enamel Life Bouy Pennant Flag Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'H.M.Minesweeper sweetheart brooch', in the form of a hollow silver Life Bouy bearing a pennant flag quartered and inlaid with white, yellow, red and black enamelling; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "F.H.M" ((Frank H Mannox Birmingham.). Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting, silver soldered replacement hook, enamel perfect, no dents or distortion.
