A rare First World War period 'Royal East Kent Yeomanry gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; crowned oval Garter inscribed "Honi Soit Oui Mal Y Pense" and inlaid with blue enamel, the centre with the White Horse of Kent on "Invicta" scroll, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and with maker's details "TLM" (Thomas Lynton Mott). Good condition, retaing original pin fitting with an old replacement hook, enamel with minor service wear.
