WW1 Australian Military Forces, 2'3 Infantry Battalion Formation Sign, Anzac Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare First World War period 'Australian Military Forces Anzac brooch'; small brass riifle with applied brown over green enamel formation sign, these colours represent the "2'3 Infantry Battalion, 16th Brigade, 6th Division", the reverse with a registered, design and patent number "Rd No 2178". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
