WW1 Hampshire Regiment 1915 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'Hampshire Regiment sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with heavy gold plated finish, mounted on a S.M.L.E style rifle; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and with maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers Birmingham). Very good condition, old replacement pin fitting, original hook, complete with rifle sling and with all of the gold plating to the front of the badge..
