WW2 Royal Navy Battleship 'The Navy Is Here' Patriotic Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Royal Navy pewter plated sweetheart brooch' in the form of a battleship, bearing the poignant message "The Navy Is Here" on wavy scroll below. Very good condition, retaining coiled pin fitting and hooked catch, a familiar characteristic of the maker 'H.W.Miller.Ltd', minor wear to pewter plating.
