WW2 Merchant Navy Official Issue MN War Service Silver Badge.

A scarce original Second War unmarked silver example, made by Royal Mint and officially issued from January 1940 to all MN officers and men as a form of identity and to fulfill the role of a National Service badge. Very good condition, original buttonhole fitting.
