WW1 The Devonshire Regiment Silver & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch by Thomas Lynton Mott.

A good original First World War period 'The Devonshire Regiment sweetheart brooch', following the pattern of the cap badge, an eight pointed star surmounted by a 'King's Crown', title circlet inlaid with blue enamel with 'Exeter Castle' to the centre on red enamel ground, the reverse impressed "Sterling" and with maker's details "T.L.M" in oblong surround (Thomas Lynton Mott, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
