WW1 Northamptonshire Regiment Gold on Silver Sweetheart Brooch by Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham.

A scarce original First World War period 'Northamptonshire Regiment silver sweetheart brooch', depicting 'Gibraltar Castle' on "Talavera" scroll within a laurel wreath with title scroll, the reverse impressed "Sterling" and maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.
Height 21mm.
