Army Service Corps 1916 silver gold rifle sweetheart brooch

A fine quality First World War period 'Army Service Corps sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature badge with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and all the gold plating to the front of the badge.
