Royal Corps of Signals Silver & Enamel Regimental Sweetheart Bar Brooch / Tiepin.

A beautiful circa 1940's 'Royal Corps of Signals fine quality silver gilt sweetheart brooch', fashioned in the style of the cap badge, an oval surround inlaid with blue enamel and surmounted by a King's Crown, 'Mercury' the winged messenger of the Gods referred to by the Corps as 'Jimmy' to voided centre, in turn applied to a slender bar, the reverse impressed "Silver". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
