WW1 Royal Army Medical Corps Gold on Silver Sweetheart Brooch.
A good original First World War period 'Royal Army Medical Corps silver sweetheart brooch', small example depicting a Crowned "Rod of Asclepius" within a laurel wreath resting on title scroll, the reverse impressed "Sterling". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with all of the gold plating to the front of the badge, ring to accommodate a safety chain attached by an ugly blob of lead solder.
