WW1 Royal Berkshire Regiment, Gilt & Enamel Sweetheart Locket Brooch, PHOTO FRAME FITTINGS REMOVED.

A scarce First World War period 'Royal Berkshire Regiment sweetheart locket brooch', the reverse with photo retaining frame and perspex having been removed many years ago, otherwise I would have classed this in very good condition, complete with suspension ring.
Height 37mm.

This is the first part of a large collection of First World War period, rare and wonderful sweetheart brooches, all in superb condition but with their pin fittings removed. These came attached on what could possibly be classed as a retailer's sample display board.
