WW2 Royal Air Force Pilot's Wing Gold & Enamel RAF Sweetheart Brooch by Thomas Lynton Mott.

A scarce circa 1940's period fine quality 'Royal Air Force gold and enamel pilot's wing sweetheart brooch'; voided 'RAF' crest inlaid with blue enamel within a laurel wreath surmounted by a King's Crown enhanced with red enamel, flanked by impressive size finely feathered wings, the reverse impressed "9ct (9 carat gold) and with maker's details "T.L.M" (Thomas Lynton Mott). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel intact, complete with ring to accommodate a safety chain.
