WW1 Royal Artillery 1914 Hallmarked Silver Regimental Mizpah Hearts Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce First World War period 'Royal Artillery Mizpah sweetheart brooch', hollow silver conjoined hearts one bearing the Regiments badge depicting crowned 'Artillery Gun' with 'Ubique' and 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt' scrolls, the other inscribed with the 'Mizpah Benediction' "The Lord Watch Between Me & Thee When We Are Absent One From Another"; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "C&S" and "QMS". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with all bauble decorations.
