Leicestershire Regiment 1923 Hallmarked Silver Regimental Mizpah Hearts Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce 1920's period 'Leicestershire Regiment Mizpah sweetheart brooch', hollow silver conjoined hearts one bearing the Regiments badge depicting the Royal Tiger over 'XVII' with 'Hindoostan' scroll above and 'Leicestershire' scroll below, the other inscribed with the 'Mizpah Benediction' "The Lord Watch Between Me & Thee When We Are Absent One From Another"; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1923 and maker's details "MBs" and retailers "QMS". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with all bauble decorations, minor nick to the top right heart otherwise an excellent example.
