Gordon Highlanders, Marquis of Huntly, 1978 Edinburgh Hallmarked Silver Scottish Clan Brooch by John Fraser Silvercraft, Inverness.

A superb quality stunning example, bearing the crest of the 'Marquis of Huntly', a stag's head issuing from a Ducal Coronet, within a large strap inscribed "Bydand"; the reverse impressed with Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1978 and maker's details "JF" "INS" (John Fraser Silvercraft, Inverness. Scotland). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings and ring to accommodate a safety chain.
