Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, 9 & 14 carat Gold & Enamel DCLI Regimental Sweetheart Brooch / Tiepin by Charles Packer & Co, London.

A scarce post 1931 possibly wartime 'Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; a very fine quality example consisting of a bugle strung from a Ducal Crown resting on a 'Cornwall' scroll inlaid with superb blue enamel and mounted on a slender bar, the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold) to badge and '14' to bar, with maker's details 'CP&Co' (Charles Packer & Co London). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
