WW1 Army Veterinary Corps 1916 gold regimental sweetheart brooch

A good scarce First World War period 'Army Veterinary Corps gold sweetheart brooch', bearing Crowned laurel wreath with 'AVC' monogram to the centre; the reverse of rim impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details "S&Co" (Sydney & Co Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, patina a little dry but no lifting to the badge, price reflects.
