WW1 Australian Military Forces 1st Division, 4th Battalion New South Wales Infantry Brigade Sweetheart Brooch.

A very scarce original First World War period 'Australian Military Forces sweetheart brooch'; very small gilded brass rising sun, in place of the normal Crown the 'First Divisional Sign' of the '4th Battalion New South Wales Infantry Brigade' a rectangle shape patch inlaid with white over green enamel within grey border. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, minor wear to gilt finish.
