A good original First World War period 'Royal Army Medical Corps sweetheart brooch', the gilded brass crest of the regiment, a King George V Crowned laurel wreath 'Rod of Asclepius' to centre, resting upon the Latin motto 'In Arduis Fidelis' (Faithful in Adversity) within white enamel shield. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains fresh, an excellent example.
