A rare original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps sweetheart brooch', heavy gold plated 'RFC' wings mounted on faux shell disc and set within a heavy gold plated rim. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings (pin shank reinforce with silver solder, minimal wear to the plating.
