EIIR Royal Air Force Pilot's Wing, 1953 Hallmarked Silver & Enamel RAF Sweetheart Brooch by Turner & Simpson Ltd.

A superior quality scarce Elizabeth II period 'Royal Air Force silver sweetheart brooch', polished 'RAF' monogram, within a green enamelled laurel wreath surmounted by a Queen's Crown and flanked by large finely feathered wings; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1953 and with unusual maker's details "T&S" (Turner & Simpson Ltd, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel intact minimal service wear.
