WW1 Army Ordnance Corps 1915 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period 'Army Ordnance Corps sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and with maker's details "A.Bros". Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting (hook an old padded replacement), complete with original rifle sling and retaining all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.
