A scarce original First World War period 'Canadian Expeditionary Force 102nd Infantry Battalion North British Columbians sweetheart brooch, possibly once a collar badge'; gilded brass maple leaf design bearing profile of 'Indian Chief' with unauthorised "Overseas" missing from the legend. Very good condition, complete with pin fittings, blue enamel scroll and gilt finish with minor service wear.
