A scarce original circa 1940's membership lapel badge for the 'Royal Army Veterinary Corps Old Comrades Association'; gilded brass circular example surmounted by a Crowned, the centre depicting the figure of 'Chiron' on blue enamel ground within red enamel circlet inscribed "R.A.V.C" "O.C.A", the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham". Good condition, retaining original horseshoe style buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel intact with minor stress lines to title surround at 1 o'clock.
