WW1 Essex Yeomanry Gilt & Enamel Sweetheart Bar Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period 'Essex Yeomanry sweetheart brooch', gilded brass example depicting the short- lived 1916 pattern badge, the crown closely resembling the flat-topped QVC with motto "Decus et Tutamen" and mounted on a slender bar. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, gilt remains bright.
