A rare First World War period 'Lovat Scouts Yeomanry silver sweetheart brooch' in the form of a long tartan silk plaid with tassled ends, stitched to miniature badge, the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver" Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, silk with minor fading and wear.
Diameter 27mm.
Approx Length 145mm.

These style of brooches were popular at the time and worn in the throat of a high necked blouse.
