WW1 Royal Artillery gold regimental sweetheart brooch

A superb quality First World War period 'Royal Artillery gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; designed on the style of the cap badge, the artillery gun surmounted by a Crowned scroll inlaid with blue enamel and bearing the motto 'Ubique' (Everywhere) with scroll below 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt' (Wherever right and glory lead), mounted on a slender bar; the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
